Est. 2010 — Yaoundé, Cameroon

Built on the Belief That
Every Child Deserves Excellence

From a single classroom in Simbock to two campuses serving hundreds of families — this is the story of Blessed Group of Schools.

Our Story

From One Classroom to Two Campuses

Blessed Group of Schools was founded in 2010 in Yaoundé, Cameroon, with a conviction that has never wavered: quality education should not be a privilege reserved for the few. Our founders saw a community of families who wanted better for their children — and they built a school worthy of that aspiration.

The first campus, BASNPS Simbock, opened its doors in the Simbock neighbourhood of Yaoundé, offering Nursery and Primary education from the very start. From day one, the commitment was to bilingual excellence: teaching in both English and French, preparing children for a Cameroon and a world that demands both.

As demand grew, a second campus was established: BASHS Nomayos, in the Nomayos district. BASHS carries the same values into secondary education — Collège, Lycée, and Technical streams — equipping students to sit the BEPC, GCE O/L, GCE A/L, and Baccalauréat with confidence.

Mission & Values

What We Stand For

Every decision we make as a school — from curriculum choices to how we speak to children — flows from these principles.

Our Mission

"To provide every child in our care with an education of genuine quality — rigorous, bilingual, and rooted in the values of Cameroonian identity — so that they leave us not merely with certificates, but with the character, the knowledge, and the confidence to shape their own future."

Academic Excellence

We hold ourselves to a high standard — not for the sake of rankings, but because every child deserves teaching that genuinely prepares them for what comes next. Our 95%+ exam success rate is the result of this commitment.

Bilingual Pride

Cameroon is a bilingual nation. We take that seriously. Our students learn, think and express themselves with equal confidence in English and French — a genuine competitive advantage for their future in Cameroon and beyond.

Community & Respect

We believe that a school is more than a building. It is a community — of children, teachers, parents and staff — who share a common purpose. We treat every member of that community with dignity and transparency.

Practical Preparation

Education that does not lead somewhere is not education. Whether a student goes to university, starts a business, or enters a trade, we ensure they leave our school genuinely ready for the next chapter of their life.

Continuous Improvement

We review our curricula, our facilities, and our teaching methods every year. The new science and computing laboratory at BASNPS Simbock is one example — but it will not be the last. Good is never good enough.

Cameroonian Identity

We are proudly Cameroonian. Our students learn about their country, their history, and their culture alongside the international curriculum. They leave us knowing who they are and where they come from.
